Over Half a Million In Street Drugs Seized During Police Team Effort
Six People Facing Charges
A six month drug investigation has seen the seizure of over half a million in street drugs.
The OPP’s Biker Enforcement Unit were joined by officers with the Barrie Police Service and South Simcoe Police in executing search warrants in Barrie, Innisfil, and Sebright.
Over nine kilos of cocaine, heroin, and other street drugs is said to have been seized during the searches, valued at around $585,000. Other drug paraphernalia was also seized.
Six people were arrested, ages ranging from 24 to 70.
