Sean Penn abandons car and crosses into Poland
Sean Penn has fled Ukraine on foot a week after arriving in the country.
Last week, he and a film crew arrived in Ukraine to film scenes for his documentary about the Russian invasion.
The actor and director posted on Twitter that he and his crewmates abandoned their vehicle at the side of the road and walked miles to get to the Polish border.
The actor and director was photographed at a presidential briefing in Kyiv last week amid the attacks.
A spokesperson says Penn safely made it out of Ukraine.

Voice of Bender is back on Futurama
He's back, baby! Voice actor John DiMaggio who voices Bender in the animated series Futurama, will be returning to the revival after all.
Hulu announced the revival of the beloved series in February, along with the return of several cast members.
At the time, DiMaggio, who voices Bender, said he would not be part of the comeback, saying he felt that he and the rest of the cast deserved to be paid more than what was offered.
The two sides look to have reached an agreement, and DiMaggio says #Bendergate is officially behind us.
DiMaggio joins his fellow cast members, Billy West, Katey Sagal, Tress MacNeille, Maurice LaMarche, Lauren Tom, Phil LaMarr, and David Herman.
Production is underway, with new episodes expected to debut in 2023.
Lindsay Lohan inks Netflix deal
Lindsay Lohan will grace our television screens as the 35-year-old actress has signed a multi-movie deal with Netflix.
It means the "Mean Girls" actress will star in two new films, in addition to an upcoming holiday movie 'Falling for Christmas' for the streaming platform.
Lohan has been in and out of business for several years, and this deal shows positive signs that she could be diving back into the acting world.
She's had a lot of new developments in her personal and professional life lately. She recently became a spokesperson for Planet Fitness with series of commercials that aired during and before the Super Bowl.
