This Barrie 360 feature has been brought to you by Pet Valu – Yonge St, Wellington, Innisfil.
Thank you to everyone who sent in photos of your adorable furry friends! Here is this month’s winner, as well as the runner-ups:
January 2021 Pet of the Month:
Jake was chosen as our Pet of the Month because this cute bundle of fur offers up a lesson. His current owners had already picked out a different puppy from a litter but when they arrived, it had already been sold. Jake crawled into their lap and just wouldn’t leave and the rest is history. So, shoot your shot because you never know what will happen!
January 2021 Pet of the Month Runner-Ups:
Zeus and Moose
Moose is just a little 4-month-old kitten with one big, adorable guardian, Zeus. From the moment they were brought together they were inseparable! How has there not been an animated movie about these two?
Rosie and Bella
Another cute duo! Rosie is an 8-year-old Shih Tzu and Bella is a 2-year-old Toy Poodle and both are extremely playful, love to cuddle, and are super protective of one another!
Although in this picture he a striking resemblance to Senator Palpatine, Ollie doesn’t want to take over the galaxy, he just wants cuddles and we think he can have as many as wants.
Lovable, cuddly, and just the right amount of needy, Chester is a Bernedoodle with an incredible personality who loves to greet all visitors at the door.
Koda is a 10-year-old Alaskan Malamute who loves going on car rides to get his favourite treat: a pupuccino! It is also nearly impossible to get him to come inside once the snow starts falling.
You might be saying “wait, wait, wait. You already had a Zeus on this list!” While that might be true, how on earth could we pass up a smile like that? We think two Zeus’s are better than one (especially when they are so darn cute).
Kengi the Bengal (that has a nice ring to it) is a super affectionate cat who loves to cuddle and play. She also meows so loud you might mistake her for her big African sister!
Loyal, playful, and energetic, Sam is a 7-year-old German Sheppard who will never say no to a nice long walk, unless it’s to hurl a powerful ring into a fiery pit with someone named Frodo, he’s done with that.
Zoey got really lucky by finding her current owners. She is a little bundle of energy who loves to hike for hours and hours. Luckily, her owners are happy to try to keep up with her!
