Meet the Teachers

Maestro Music Centre is led by an extraordinary team of passionate educators and performers who bring decades of combined experience to every lesson.

  • Aleksandra Balaburska, BMus – Administrator, Voice, Piano, Theory, Young Maestro Program: A professional soprano with international performance experience, Aleksandra has over 10 years of teaching experience, inspiring students with her vocal and piano expertise.
  • Oliver Balaburski, BMus, MMus – Piano, Violin, Voice, Theory, Harmony, Counterpoint, Conducting: An accomplished conductor and former Music Director of the Huronia Symphony Orchestra, Oliver brings international training and decades of experience preparing students for RCM exams, youth orchestras, and competitions.
  • Anaida Isakhanova, BMus – Violin: A professional violinist and performer, Anaida has over 10 years of teaching experience and has performed worldwide in ensembles and string quartets.
  • Victoria Yudina, BMus, MMus – Piano, Voice:With more than 25 years of teaching experience, Victoria specializes in piano, voice, and performance, preparing students for RCM exams and competitions while nurturing their full musical potential.
  • Valerie Quinn, RCM Certified – Piano: A classically trained pianist, Valerie combines technical skill and creativity to help students build confidence and grow musically.
  • Salvatore Stalteri, RCM Certified – Guitar, Classical Guitar: An accomplished guitarist with over 20 years of teaching experience, Salvatore inspires students to explore multiple musical genres while emphasizing theory and performance.
  • Heather Lentini, RCM Certified – Piano: A patient and dedicated piano instructor with more than 20 years of teaching experience, Heather guides students of all ages in technique, theory, and musical expression.
  • Daryl Yeager, BMus – Trumpet: A versatile trumpet player and teacher with decades of performance experience, Daryl directs the Skyliners Youth Big Band and helps students develop both skill and confidence.

Other talented instructors in guitar, ukulele, trumpet, and more round out the team, providing a rich variety of expertise for every student.
