Originally raised in Greater Sudbury and on Manitoulin Island, she has called Barrie home for more than three decades. Having personally owned property in both Northern Ontario and Barrie, she understands firsthand what it means to build a life in different communities and the importance of finding the right place to call home.
With more than 25 years of professional experience working in York Region and deep roots in Simcoe County, Armstrong has built a reputation for strong communication, problem-solving, and a relationship-first approach to real estate. As part of the Coldwell Banker network, she continues to serve clients across Barrie and the surrounding region.
Her focus is simple: help clients feel informed, supported, and confident from beginning to end.
Turning Real Estate Into Community Impact
What truly sets Armstrong apart is how she connects her business to her community involvement. Inspired by her personal journey as the mother of a child diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, she has made giving back part of her business model.
For every completed real estate transaction, Armstrong donates $200 to Autism Ontario Simcoe County, helping support local programs and resources for families navigating autism.
Since her son’s diagnosis in 2018, she has become a passionate advocate, not only for her own family but for others facing similar challenges. Her experiences have shaped both her personal life and her professional mission.
“I understand the challenges families face and the importance of access to support and therapy,” Maniva shares. “If I can help even in a small way through my work, that’s something that really matters to me.”
Balancing Business and Family
Outside of real estate, Armstrong leads an active and full life. She enjoys fitness, sports, gardening, cooking, and reading, but says her most important role is being a mother.
She credits her children with teaching her lessons about resilience, patience, and perseverance. Qualities that also shape how she supports her clients during stressful transitions like moves, downsizing, or major life changes.
