No One Hurt After Knife Used To Threaten

Police Dog Nitro put his nose to good use in tracking down a discarded weapon.

South Simcoe Police were called out to an Innisfil home around 9:00 Saturday night, with reports of a man weilding a knife and making threats. Police say the suspect ran off when officers arrived, but was arrested not far off. He was taken downtown, and eventually released with a court date.

The canine unit showed up at the scene, adding Nitro found the knife used. No one was hurt in the incident.
