Police Dog Tracks Down Knife As Innisfil Man Waits for Court Date
No One Hurt After Knife Used To Threaten
Police Dog Nitro put his nose to good use in tracking down a discarded weapon.
South Simcoe Police were called out to an Innisfil home around 9:00 Saturday night, with reports of a man weilding a knife and making threats. Police say the suspect ran off when officers arrived, but was arrested not far off. He was taken downtown, and eventually released with a court date.
The canine unit showed up at the scene, adding Nitro found the knife used. No one was hurt in the incident.
