OPP Investigating Sexual Assault in Collingwood

OPP are investigating a sexual assault occurrence in Collingwood, and are appealing to the public for help.

Police say the incident took place sometime overnight of April 22nd-23rd in the area of Minnesota Street north of Hume Street.

According to officers, a female was walking in the area was approached by what is described as three teenage males, and was sexually assaulted.

OPP say the victim was eventually able to make her way to hospital to be treated for minor physical injuries.

No further description of the assailants is available at this time.
