Investigators Awaiting Toxicology Reports On Whether Fatal Strain Was Behind Recent ODs
Barrie Police are warning of a dangerous drug with a unique colour.
Investigators say they believe this strain of heroin or possibly cocaine is purple in colour, and may be behind several overdoses and a recent death in the city.

Toxicology reports are underway in hopes of providing more detail on the composition of this potentially fatal drug.
In the meantime, remind those who use illicit drugs to be vigilant; that various drugs can be mixed with other illicit drugs, and very small amounts can be fatal
