Police trying to determine identity of body found in Holland River near Bradford

Autopsy hopes to ascertain cause of death

Police are investigating after a body was discovered in the Holland River in Bradford.

The South Simcoe Police Service was contacted at around 11:30 a.m. Saturday, following the discovery of a body towards Cooks Bay. The Service’s Marine One watercraft was dispatched to retrieve the man’s body. He has since been taken to the Centre of Forensic Sciences in Toronto, where an autopsy hopes to determine the cause of his death.
