Five shops from downtown Barrie will transplant themselves into the Georgian Mall this holiday season.
As a means of promoting their own businesses and Downtown Barrie as a whole, the five local shops will be part of a new pop-up shop as of November 27th. Called Shops of Downtown, the project is not just promotional, but also hopes to help recoup some losses as a result of the Dunlop St. revitalization project that shut down the roadway through the core for a good chunk of time.
“I am thrilled to be included in this unique opportunity to offer a peek into the special experience customers enjoy when they enter my downtown shop.” says Tracey Baker, Owner of ZuZu Fashion Boutique, “As a member of a vibrant community however, I am proud to be one of the many creative and interesting businesses that call Downtown Barrie home. If you haven’t visited our neighbourhood recently, you’re missing out,”
ZuZu Fashion Boutique, Everleigh Garden, Janet Kemp Ladies Fashion and Accessories, Olive Oil Co. Barrie and Newmarket, and Our House will be a part of this project.
This 5-store 5-week initiative called Shops of Downtown will open at 9:30 on Wednesday, November 27th in a 3,500 square foot location beside The Source on the Lower Level of Georgian Mall near Entrance #2
