Precautionary Step As Angus High School Put Into Hold And Secure

Police Activity Prompts Locked Doors

A bit of a snag in the school day in Angus today, after Nottawasaga Pines Secondary School was put into a hold and secure state this morning.

Notice came around 10:00, from the Simcoe County District School Board that says this was a precautionary measure only, and that all the students and staff were safe inside the building,

The Hold and Secure state was prompted by reports of police activity outside, in the general area of the school, as officers searched for a wanted suspect.

Nottawasaga OPP has yet to specify why they were searching for the suspect. The Hold and Secure was lifted shortly before noon.
