Public Health Ontario confirms 84 more deaths

Public Health Ontario says more people recovered from COVID-19 overnight than there were new cases.

The provincial health body announced 370 new cases were added to the tally since yesterday, bringing the Ontario-wide caseload to 17,923. However, exactly 500 recoveries were posted, with 12,505 people recovered to date. That represents 69.8 percent of all cases.

Public Health Ontario confirms 84 lives were lost since yesterday’s update, with 1,300 to date.
