Springwater Fire officials are not impressed with an apparent prank last night on Carson Road.
Twenty firefighters got the call to something burning.
It turned out to be a pumpkin that had been dumped and set ablaze.
The call cost $600 but worse than that, say fire officials, it tied up firefighting resources that could have been needed elsewhere.
They also point out OPP have details of the vehicles the perpetrators used.
The report of the contents/dumping fire was a dumped & burned pumpkin. These people of arguably questionable intelligence took your fire protection away from your communities, reducing public safety, took the 20 FFs away from families, and cost $600. #WhatWereYouThinking
