Deb Bobechko truly pushed her limits when she ascended all 19,341 ft of Africa's highest mountain, Kilimanjaro.
Deb hopes her stories of perseverance and drive to reach the peak as more and more of her fellow climbers called it quits will inspire youth to push their own limits and never be afraid to reach out for help. In her own words, she said: "It takes an enormous amount of courage, when you're feeling down and out to reach out your hand, but when you do, someone will pick it up".

Through all the perils that came with climbing Kilimanjaro including fighting through the nausea, heartburn, headaches, and lightheadedness of altitude sickness, the trek to the bottom of the mountain, the 8-hour climb to the peak, and even witnessing a near-miss plummet, Deb was steadfast that she could not have done it without the support of her packmates, friends, and family.
Deb has already raised over $3000 for Youth Haven thanks to her tremendous efforts and she has continued to speak to the public about the importance of places like Youth Haven and about her journey.
