Looking for something to do with the family this weekend? Check out the Barrie Public Library's special Grab & Go kit for Remembrance Day.
While Remembrance Day isn't for another week, The Barrie Public Library wants you to be ready. They have created a special kit that you can take home with everything you need to make your own sun catcher in the shape of a Canadian Flag! If you're wondering what a sun catcher is, it's a small reflective ornament hung indoors near windows to catch the sunlight. Think of it as the light equivalent of a wind chime.
The kits will be available for pick-up starting November 6, and they are provided completely free of charge! However, they will be given out on a first-come-first-serve basis so be sure to hurry over and grab one!
If you love the Grab & Go kits or any other of the amazing (and free) programs the Barrie Public Library has, be sure to let them know through their Program Evaluation Form. Their calendar is always packed with fun, diverse, and educational programming for all ages, and they love hearing from happy patrons!
