Police Arrest Pair For Theft Moments After Urging Them to Leave Nearby Restaurant

Two men are accused of drawing some attention to themselves before committing theft.

South Simcoe Police officers were called out to a restaurant in Bradford around 2:00 this morning, with reports two men were arguing with an employee there. The pair were asked to leave for damaging property at the locale, and police made sure the two departed.

Shortly after, officers were called to a nearby convenience store with reports of a theft. The suspect descriptions matched the two men police just spoke with, and a search of the area turned up the pair in question. Police say they were still in possession of stolen property too.

Two 21-year-old men, one from Nunavut, the other from British Columbia, were charged with theft.
