UPDATE: Four people suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries Monday after shots were fired near Nathan Phillips Square during the Raptors championship rally. Three people were arrested and two firearms recovered.

A day of celebration has turned terrifying, after reports of a shooting at Nathan Phillips Square caused panic at the Raptors championship celebration. Toronto Police tweeted reports that a woman had been shot. Speeches were stopped temporarily, before Raps play-by-play announcer Matt Devlin took over the microphone to urge the crowd to remain calm.

Parade attendees near the scene could be seen trying to flee. Reports of people being trampled flooded social media.
