During the ribbon cutting Monday afternoon, Craig Busch the founder and CEO of the Sandbox warned the business crowd that without their support and mentor-ship for entrepreneurs, the Sandbox will remain just a box, albeit a very sleek, modern box.
“I hope the doors swing open tomorrow and people come here to create, innovate or just begin that journey. As much as anything this is a starting point for entrepreneurs,” said Busch.
Barrie’s newest business hub is definitely a unique space. It has amazing water views, chic decor, a moss wall, kitchen, lounge and it’s situated above the bus station. “It’s a space the community can work together in. We want to help to accelerate their business by sharing knowledge, ideas and energy,” said Busch.
