Ontario’s top Doctor has confirmed another “presumptive” case of coronavirus.
Dr. David Williams issued a statement Monday morning, saying the individual is the wife of the man diagnosed as the Canada’s first coronavirus patient.
The couple recently returned to Toronto from Wuhan, China. The statement says the woman has been in self-isolation ever since. Williams will update the situation at Queen’s Park at 11:30 a.m. ET.
On Sunday Health officials said Canada’s first coronavirus patient had mild symptoms during the flight he took from China to Toronto and there is a likelihood there will be more cases.
