In the movie, Seth Rogan plays a pickle factory worker who is accidentally preserved for 100 years and wakes up in modern-day Brooklyn. The film is being directed by cinematographer Brandon Trost and is written by long time SNL writer Simon Rich.

Though it hasn't arrived yet, HBO Max is coming to Canada sometime in 2020 with An American Pickle now being one of its key releases.
