Smoke Alarm, No Fire, Following Evacuation of Barrie High School
Students Back In Class After Brief Evacuation to Allandale Rec Centre
Students were briefly uprooted from class at Innisdale Secondary today, after a smoke alarm went off.
Barrie Fire got the call to the Bayview drive and Little Avenue-area school around 11:30 Monday morning, while students were moved from the structure to the nearby recreation centre. Barrie Police were there to assist.
Innisdale SS has been evacuated to the Allandale Rec Centre due to activation of a fire alarm. All students and staff are safe.

Once firefighters gave the structure the all-clear, finding no flames, students were allowed back into class to resume the day.
