The Snowbirds are scheduled to fly over the Collingwood and Barrie-area this afternoon as part of their cross-Canada mission to boost morale during the pandemic.

“Operation Inspiration” is to salute Canadians for doing their part to fight the spread of COVID-19.

Weather permitting, the Snowbirds are scheduled to depart London at 4:15 p.m., landing at Lake Simcoe Regional Airport at 5:15 p.m.

The Snowbirds will veer north from Brampton toward the Collingwood area and then take a path over Highway 26 to Barrie.
