A shout out to one group of first responders from another.
Orillia Fire Service is handing out a pat on the back to the County of Simcoe Paramedics, after some firefighters were involved in a crash enroute to a call.
A huge #ShoutOut to the @simcoecountyPS professionals that attended to citizens & the #Orillia firefighters injured in an MVC while on route to another MVC. The work that you do in our communities is unparalleled. THANKS!— Orillia Fire (@OrilliaFire) February 6, 2019
A tweet from the Orillia service says the firefighters were checked at hospital; they were bruised and sore, but otherwise okay after the crash. The other driver involved did not require a trip to the hospital. The fire truck on the other hand, did not fare as well.
