South Simcoe Police seeking thirsty thief

Police allege the man made no effort to pay for the alcohol

Nothing wrong with picking out some items at the LCBO. The problem starts when you don’t pay for the goods.

That’s what a man is alleged to have done at the LCBO in Alcona back on March 14.

South Simcoe Police say the man was in the store just before 8:30 p.m., picked up a plastic shopping basket and proceeded to select multiple bottles of alcohol before leaving without making an attempt to pay.

The stolen booze is valued at several hundred dollars.
