News release - Township of Springwater
The Township is continuing progress on its Transportation Master Plan, a strategic blueprint designed to shape the future of transportation infrastructure within the municipality and are currently seeking feedback from the community.
The Transportation Master Plan will set the transportation vision and strategy for the Township’s mobility needs to the year 2041. It will prioritize the secure and efficient movement of traffic within the Township and between its various communities. Moreover, the plan will take into account factors crucial to our community’s well-being, including active transportation and the smooth movement of goods.
Residents are encouraged to actively participate in shaping the future of transportation in Springwater Township. A Public Information Centre (PIC) to share information and gather feedback will be held at the Township Administration Centre on December 7 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. The Township and its consultants, R.J. Burnside & Associates Limited, will be present to discuss the Plan and answer questions in a convenient drop-in format.
If you are unable to attend the PIC and would like to provide comment on the Transportation Master Plan, please email tmp@springwater.ca.
Springwater Township is committed to creating a transportation landscape that aligns with the aspirations of our residents and stakeholders. Your engagement in this process is vital, and we look forward to collaboratively shaping the future of transportation in our community.
