Sunnidale’s off-leash dog park to reopen Saturday after City of Barrie gave it a facelift
Park closed in September for renovation and rejuvenation
Here’s some good news for you and your four-legged friend. The City of Barrie is reopening the off-leash dog park at Sunnidale Park.
The park will reopen this Saturday after being closed in September, for construction and regeneration. Two permanent bridges were built over Kidd’s Creek, new benches were installed, and extra beautifying measures were taken.
Once the renovations were complete, the park remained closed to allow it to breathe; the popularity of the park has taken its toll on the vegetation and soil and was given time to regenerate before the park was reopened.
