A suspicious hay fire in Clearview Township, east of Stayner, burned for more than 20 hours.
The fire department was called to the blaze shortly after 11 p.m. on Friday. Crews spent most of Saturday extinguishing the blaze and remained on scene until 7 a.m. Sunday.
Crews still on scene of this fire, this malicious fire has tied up a lot of resources even after transitioning to rapid fuel reduction tactics. Once again, thank you to the ff’s who have spent a great deal of time extinguishing this fire.
