Driver suffered minor injuries

A Rama First Nations teen is facing charges after a vehicle struck two homes in Orillia.

The OPP say a Colborne Street resident called shortly after 8 a.m. Wednesday to say their house had been hit by a vehicle. The caller added the vehicle had come to rest at a house across the road. Police and County of Simcoe paramedics rushed to the scene, and found a driver suffering minor injuries.

Police say a 17-year-old now faces charges of careless driving and driving unaccompanied while having a G1 license.
