Two people charged following theft of electronics from Barrie store

Barrie police have charged two people who were nabbed leaving a big box store after they allegedly stole a number of "electronic accessories."

A 25-year-old female and a 34-year-old- male were arrested Wednesday afternoon.

They allegedly concealed the store items in a backpack.

The electronics, valued at over $3,200, were recovered.

Both suspects were charged with theft under $5,000.

They have a court date next month.
