Theft Suspect Spotted While Out and About
Police Also Looking For Suspect Following Snow Machine Theft
A lost wallet was put to use, and now a man is facing charges.
South Simcoe Police got the call from an elderly Bradford man Friday around noon, claiming he had lost his wallet earlier in the day but transactions had since been made through his bank account.
Investigators were able to get a description of the suspect, while an officer on a patrol later spotted someone who fit the bill.
A 54-year-old Bradford man was taken to the stationhouse, and has since been charged with Theft- and Fraud-related offenses.
Meanwhile, South Simcoe Police are looking for information on a stolen snowmobile. The 2017 Arctic Cat Cross Country snowmobile is said to have been stolen from a Yonge and Lockhard-area garage in Innisfil sometime Saturday night.
