Egg hunts, delicious brunches, fun runs and more! There’s tons of Easter fun going on around Barrie. Check out some of the nearby events below:

Rounds Ranch

Rounds Ranch will be open for two Easter-themed weekends including April 13th-14th and April 19th-20th.

This fantastic family run farm seems to get better every year. There are so many activities to choose from so make sure you arrive early to make the most out of your day.

Kids will love making new barnyard animal friends, bouncing on the buckaroo bouncer and going for a spin on the pedal cart track. There will also be a number of holiday themed activities including, egg hunts, crafts, and a visit with the Easter Bunny.

Drysdale’s

Drysdale’s will be hosting their Easter festivities April April 19th-21st. Some of this year’s fun will include an egg hunt, visit with the Easter Bunny, and face painting. For more info on how the egg hunt works, click here.

BONUS! Drysdale’s will be featuring shows from two very exciting guests: a pick pocket magician and “ZooTek”, a live animal exotic show. Some animals you may get to meet with ZooTek include a python, lizard, tortoise, hedgehog, tarantula and more!

Chappell Farms

Chappell Farms will run outdoor activities and Easter fun as part of their 5 day Spring Festival. Bring the whole family to welcome celebrate the warmer days of Spring with a bang!

Candy hunts are done every hour and you can collect as much as you like. When you’re not looking for sweets you can enjoy meeting farm animals, going on wagon rides, watching a magic show or bouncing on the jumping castle.

The festival is held the weekend before Easter (April 13th-14th) and the Easter weekend (April 19th-21st) from 10 am–4 pm.

Tangle Creek Brunch & Egg Hunt

Tangle Creek will be hosting a special brunch and egg hunt in celebration of Easter. Warning: Looking at this food lineup will 100 % make you hungry.

Brunch will include: Bread Station, Cold and Seafood Station, Waffle and Crepe Station, Omelet and Pasta Station, Carving Station, Hot Items, Kids Station, Dessert Bar.

Redline Brewhouse Easter Egg Hunt

Brewery tours will run every hour on the hour. Spots are limited so call 705-881-9988 to book your time. Once you’ve completed a tour, have a go at the Easter egg hunt. Some prizes available will include dinners for two, Redline apparel, gift cards, chocolate and more!

Barrie’s Garden Centre

Barrie’s Garden Centre puts on a great day of Easter fun every year with their Annual egg hunt. Drop by April 19th between 10 am and 2 pm for an egg hunt, visits with the Easter bunny, face painting and more! For $5 the kids can paint their own planter and bring home it home with them.

5th Annual Bunny Hop

The 5th Annual Bunny Hop is back at Heritage Park this year on April 14th. All proceeds of the Bunny Hop will support Deaf Access Simcoe-Muskoka. The event will include:

  • 5 km chip timed run
  • 1 km just for fun run
  • Easter egg hunt run for little ones
The 1 km run/walk will be lead by the Easter Bunny himself

Participants of all ages are invited to come run, walk or hop along Barrie’s waterfront for this fun Easter themed event. The Bunny Hop will be held in both spoken English and American Sign Language.

Easter in the Village

It’ll be a busy weekend in the Blue Mountain Village from April 19th-21st with a variety of family fun activities.

For free: Horse & wagon rides, magic show, interactive drumming, cheesecake eating contest and professional photos.

At a cost: Easter Egg Dive, Ridge Runner Mountain Coaster, Woodlot Low Ropes, create your own button and Crock A Doodle Pottery.
