Easter Dessert Drive and Gift Drive
When: Now until April 14
Fresh Food Weekly is a food-based charity in Barrie that delivers fresh food to low-income families.
This Easter, they are hosting a Dessert Drive and a Gift Drive for families in need.
To participate in the Dessert Drive, you can purchase a tasty treat from The Vegan Pantry:
- Online using their ‘Easter Donation Menu’
- In-person at 34 Ross St (Open 10 AM to 5 PM Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday and 10 AM to 7 PM Thursday and Friday)

To participate in the Easter Gift Drive, contact Leah Dyck at leah.dyck@icloud.com. You can donate any kind of new unopened gifts for kids from 1 to 10 years old including candy, baskets, decorating kits and crafts.
All donations will be delivered to recipients on April 15.
Georgian Mall Easter Bunny Photos
Where: Georgian Mall at 509 Bayfield St, Barrie
When: Now to April 16
Bring your family (pets included) to Georgian Mall and get a picture with the Easter Bunny in the court area just outside Shoppers Drug Mart on the lower level. You must make a reservation in advance on their website.
Photo packages range from $34.99 to $44.99 and $1.00 from every purchase will go to the OSPCA Barrie Animal Centre.
Easter Egg Hunt at Friday Harbour
Where: Friday Harbour at 3999 Friday Dr, Innisfil
When: April 15 to 17 at different times throughout the weekend
Friday Harbour is hosting family activities and special performances all weekend. You can also enjoy festive drinks and try out delicious treats at the Easter Bunny’s Snack Shack cabin
Friday, April 15 – learn how to juggle, create your own Easter egg juggling balls, watch a juggling performance and say “hi” to a juggling bunny.
Saturday, April 16 – get a balloon character from Bella, try out the hula hoop Interactive Fun Zone, build a stuffed animal, compete in a family relay and egg toss and enjoy a campfire with Peep S’mores.
Sunday, April 17 – Easter Egg Hunt for kids 0 to 7 and 8 to 12, petting zoo, get a balloon character from Bella, say “hi” to the queen of Easter, watch a juggling performance, compete in the 5th Annual Egg Drop and end your day with an Easter show at 3:00PM!

Easter Egg Hunt at Drysdale’s Farm
Where: Drysdale’s Farm at 6635 Simcoe County Rd 56, Egbert
When: April 15 to 17 at 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM
Drysdale’s will be hosting their Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Easter weekend. They will also have other fun activities for the family including:
- A magic show
- Visits with the Easter Bunny
- A Live exotic animal show
- Refreshments
- Train & wagon ride

Drysdale’s has also teamed up with KOOL FM for the chance to win a family getaway. During each egg hunt, there will be three golden eggs. If you find a golden egg, turn it in and receive a ballot to be entered in the draw!
Tickets are $22.50 for kids and include a treat bag. Adults are $12.5 and children 2 and under are free. Participants can register in advance on the Drysdale’s website or they can sign up 30 minutes prior to the event at the Evergreen Store on-site.
Chappell Farms Spring Festival
Where: Chappell Farms at 17 Penetanguishene Road, Barrie
When: April 15 to 18 from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Chappell Farms is hosting their weeklong Spring Festival with tons of fun attractions including:
- A kids maze
- Magic show
- Wagon ride
- Hay bale run
- Candy hunt
- Animals
To buy tickets in advance, visit Chappell Farm’s website. Tickets will be $14 each (kids under 2 years are free). You can also purchase feed for the animals.
Easter Egg Hunt at Park Place
Where: Park Place at 100 Mapleview Dr, Barrie
When: April 16 – 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Park Place will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt at the Village Courtyard. Families can take pictures in the Easter Egg photo area and pick up a free colouring book and bunny ears.
Easter Egg Hunt at Curio
Where: Curio Exploration Hub at 462 Bayfield St North, Barrie
When: April 16 11:45 AM to 4:30 PM
You and your family can choose a 1 hour time slot to hunt for eggs, make Easter crafts and play at Curio Exploration Hub.
Tickets are $15 and include 1 adult and 1 child and participants should bring their own basket.

Tangle Creek Easter Brunch Buffet
Where: Tangle Creek Golf, 4730 Side Road 25
When: April 17 with seatings from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM
Tangle Creek will be hosting their Easter Brunch Buffet again this year. Reservations must be made before April 14 at 12 PM by emailing events@tanglecreekgolf.com.
Tickets will be $52 for adults, $25 for children 8 to 15 and $15 for children 4 to 7. Kids 3 and under are free.
