
Southern Georgian Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested the third of three suspects in an ongoing investigation into an aggravated assault incident.
A province-wide arrest warrant was put out Saturday for a 35-year-old man from Midland, who was wanted on the offence of aggravated assault. OPP warned that the accused was known to police to be armed, dangerous and violent and not be approached.
The man was arrested Wednesday on the outstanding warrant at the Southern Georgian Bay OPP attachment and was held for a bail hearing.
With investigative assistance from the Southern Georgian Bay OPP Detachment Crime Unit, investigators had previously arrested two individuals on aggravated assault charges. One was a 25-year-old man from Midland, and the other a 33-year-old woman from Tiny Township
All three are now set to appear before the court at a later date.
