Citizens impacted by the twister report people photographing damaged neighbourhoods
The southeast part of Barrie continues to be a tornado tourist attraction for some people.
Residents ravaged by the July 15 EF-2 tornado continue to report to the police about curious onlookers driving through and photographing the damaged neighbourhoods.
“Those affected are asking for privacy as they work to do what is necessary to move forward. Please respect what they are going through and kindly stay away,” police said in a tweet on Saturday afternoon.

Dozens of homes are still deemed unsafe to enter.
The area around Prince William Way and Mapleview Drive was hit hardest by the twister.
