Toronto man facing trafficking charges following calls about reckless driving through Bracebridge

Police said vehicle was having trouble staying in the lane

A slew of calls about some reckless driving has landed a Toronto man in hot water with provincial police.

Bracebridge OPP detachment started getting calls shortly after 5:00 Thursday evening of a white sedan travelling at high speeds along Highway 11 in the area of Sparrow Lake Route D. Police were told the vehicle was having trouble staying in one lane.

Officers were able to track down the vehicle in question following a final complaint about a suspicious person in the area. A 23-year-old Toronto man was charged with drug-impaired driving, possession, and trafficking.

He is expected to make a Bracebridge court appearance in mid-March.
