Eight couples in Town of Innisfil say “I Do” in support of RVH

Wedding, Vow Renewal Ceremony Fees Being Donated to Cardiac Program

Eight couples are tying the knot today in Innisfil, not just to make their hearts full, but to help other people’s hearts too!

For today only, the Town of Innisfil will donate the marriage ceremony fee of $270 to the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre’s Advanced Cardiac program, while those who renew their vows for $104 will also contribute to the cause.

“The funds raised will benefit our new Simcoe Muskoka Regional Heart program,” says Eric Dean, CEO of the RVH Foundation. “In fact, some of those RVH cardiac services are now available closer to home for Innisfil residents in the newly opened Rizzardo Health and Wellness Centre.”

“Since 2018, we have married over 95 couples,” says Patty Thoma, Deputy Clerk. “This special wedding event is about giving back to the community while highlighting our complete civil marriage ceremony service.”

Each couple that says “I do” will enjoy a celebratory toast and take home a set of champagne glasses courtesy of the Innisfil ideaLAB & Library.
