Trick found in Hallowe’en Treat in south Barrie

Needle discovered in candy bar

Barrie Police are investigating reports of a needle found in a piece of Hallowe’en candy.

“My daughter was enjoying some Halloween candy after dinner tonight when she bit into a mini Mr Big chocolate bar and found a sewing needle. That’s right a large sewing needle.”

Jessica Carole wrote on Facebook that her daughter was trick-or-treating in the Serena, Raymond, Danielle, Catherine neighbourhood.

Peter Leon at Barrie Police tells Barrie 360 the investigation continues. He reminds parents to continue checking candy the kids collected.
