Two drivers charged with impaired driving in separate incidents Saturday in Bradford and Innisfil

A 56-year-old man in Bradford and a 39-year-old woman in Innisfil both face charges after road-side checks

A 56-year-old Pefferlaw man faces charges of drunk driving in Bradford Saturday morning.

South Simcoe Police pulled over a driver for allegedly going 30 km/h over the speed limit. After noting the smell of alcohol, the driver was arrested after he supposedly refused to comply with police.

Further testing showed that the driver was over the legal limit. He was issued a 90-day driving suspension and his vehicle was impounded for seven days.

A 39-year-old Alliston woman was charged with impaired driving after a collision in Innisfil.

On Saturday night, South Simcoe Police were dispatched to Innisfil Beach Road at the 5th Line for a two-vehicle collision. One driver was arrested and breath tests showed that she was over the legal limit.

Her licence was suspended for 90 days and her vehicle will be impounded for seven days.
