Two people have been charged after South Simcoe Police (SSP) responded shortly after midnight on Monday to a report of a break-in at a property on Thomas Street in Innisfil.

"Police arrived on scene and observed a grey Jaguar with the front passenger window shattered and fingerprint markings on the passenger side door," police said in a news release.

Soon after, officers spotted a Toyota Rav 4 with significant damage to the front end parked on the 9th Line of Innisfil with a female inside the vehicle. Police determined she was wanted on an outstanding warrant for firearms offences in York Region.
