Uber Eats is making it a little easier and a little more affordable to support local restaurants. The delivery fee that is normally applied on top of your order is being waived to encourage people to skip cooking and grab a meal from a local business instead.
Here are a few of the amazing local restaurants we will ordering from to take advantage of the new deal:
Dunlop Street Diner
Winner of last year's Top Chef Barrie competition, Dunlop Street Diner might be the most delicious way to start your day. However, eggs benedict, omelettes, and bacon are just the tip of the iceberg because they also have amazing burgers, sandwiches, and poutines stacked mountain high with cheese curds and gravy.
Higher Grounds Coffee House
Another option for breakfast (and lunch) is Higher Grounds Coffee House with fresh baked goods, breakfast sandwiches, tasty paninis and wraps, and more. If you've been craving a specialty drink instead of the regular old coffee on your shelf too you can grab a latte, cappuccino, cafe mocha, or even a sweet London fog.
B.B. Fridays
You don't need to be at the pub to get some awesome pub food! B.B. Fridays is a new spot that opened in the past few months and they have some delicious food still available for delivery. Grab some apps like deep-fried pickles, mozza sticks, or calamari to go along with your wings, burger, or steak sandwich.
Burger Royal
Mmm, this is a tasty burger! Juicy, mouthwatering burgers are just a tap away and we have the perfect idea for you: Pop on Netflix, hit that search function and type in Pulp Fiction, then order up a patty from Burger Royal. Now sit back and watch one the best movies ever made while enjoying a royal with cheese.
Cocina Mexicana
You might have had your trip to Mexico postponed recently but you can still get delicious and authentic Mexican food delivered thanks to Cocina Mexicana. Nachos, tacos, quesadillas, flautas, enchiladas, enmoladas, and anything else you can think of are just a few taps away.
