Unlock creativity with game-based learning

Using Minecraft: Education Edition

If you have kids at home (or adults who are kids at heart) you will have no doubt heard of the cultural phenomenon known as Minecraft. What you might not know is that there is a special version of the game designed specifically with education in mind.

Minecraft: Education Edition is a game-based learning platform that promotes creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving in an immersive digital environment. This version of Minecraft makes STEM learning incredibly fun and exciting letting students learn a variety of subjects including language arts, science, history & culture, computer science, math, and art & design, in a truly hands-on way.

If you’re an educator, Minecraft: Education Edition has a number of guides and tutorials to get you started and makes it easy to find the right lessons and guide students through them. There are special educator licenses as well for camps, clubs, and classrooms.

However, maybe you’re a parent who wants to supplement your child’s education with some at-home learning or keep their brain working over the summer break. Well, don’t worry because it can also be purchased on an individual basis and it really won’t break the bank as a year membership only costs around $10.

Head over to the website to start exploring Minecraft: Education Edition or take the free trail for a test run!
