Four suspects sought following armed home invasion in Newmarket

Three victims struck in the head with a firearm

Police in Newmarket are looking for witnesses to a home invasion robbery Monday morning.

Officers were called out to a home on Bondi Avenue just east of Bayview Avenue at around 9:30 a.m. Monday with reports of a home invasion and robbery. Investigators were told three male suspects, armed with handguns, forced their way into the home and held the occupants at gunpoint. A fourth suspect remained in a getaway vehicle out front.

Three of the occupants were struck in the head with a firearm and received minor injuries as a result.

Cash and electronics were stolen, and the suspects fled the scene in the waiting getaway vehicle.

The three suspects were all described as male, Black, wearing black track pants, black hoodies, black cloth face coverings and gloves.
