Wallet Returned, Complete With Cash
Uber Driver Hailed As A Good Samaritan
There’s one Uber driver out there that may well live by the motto “honesty is the best policy” after a woman’s wallet was returned.
The woman called South Simcoe Police last Thursday to report she’d lost her wallet containing all her ID along with over $1,000 in cash.
On Monday, an Uber driver showed up at the police station to turn in a wallet found in his vehicle. Police called to inform the ecstatic owner, who arrived to collect the wallet, complete with all the cash.
“Shout out to the Good Samaritan who did the right thing and brought the lost wallet to police,” reads a statement from the South Simcoe Police Service, “We hope someone pays it forward for you today!”
