Wasaga Beach Stabbing Sends Two To Hospital

Two men are in hospital, one is in jail, after a stabbing in Wasaga Beach.

Around 2:30 yesterday morning, Huronia West OPP responded to 911 calls about an attack on Main Street.

Officers say a verbal argument between three men escalated to the point where a 21- and 28-year-old were stabbed. Both were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

A 25-year-old man is said to have fled the scene, later arrested by South Simcoe Police. The Wasaga Beach suspect is facing a series of charges including Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Dangerous Weapon.
