Netflix Party (NP) is an easy way to keep watching movies and tv shows with friends and family while still self-isolating and adhering to the important principles of social distancing.
This new chrome extension synchronizes video playback and adds a group chat to the side of the screen. It's super easy to get started too. After you've installed the extension simply choose a movie or tv show, click the new "NP" icon next to your address bar and click "start party", then just share the URL that is generated with anyone who also has Netflix (and NP) and just like that you can have a viewing party without having to leave the house!
