Paddle For The Cure

Paddle for the Cure is a Stand-Up Paddleboarding event at the Barrie Canoe and Kayak Club, which is at the South Shore Community Centre on Sunday, August 25th.  A 5km Paddle parade around Kempenfelt Bay where paddlers can flaunt their pink.  There is also SUP yoga, SUP polo, and SUP races and a silent auction.

This is the 5th annual event and has raised over $60,000 in the last 4 years for breast cancer research. Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer in Canadian women and will affect 11% of them in their lifetime.
