Watering ban for Tiny Township municipal water users

Watering ban starts July 8

Residents of Tiny Township will have to give the municipal water system a rest. Hot weather and lack of rain have resulted in a watering ban, which takes effect Wednesday, July 8.

That means a complete ban on lawn watering and outdoor hose use, including washing vehicles, slip-and-slides, and recreational sprinklers. Residents are asked to turn off all timed sprinklers as well. Filling a watering jug to water plants is allowed.

A non-compliance could result in a fine of $180.
