Weapons Charges Laid After Early Morning Altercation in Midland

Suspect Also Charged With Violating Probation

A young Midland man is facing a list of charges, after cops say he threatened another man early Monday morning.

The OPP got the call to a Chatham St. home around 3:30 in the morning, with reports of a man threatening another with a gun. Officers arrived and found the suspect had already left, but were pointed in the direction of a Main St. apartment.

A 22-year-old suspect was taken into custody, he now faces two counts of Probation Violation on top of charges including Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, Transporting Firearms or Ammo In a Careless Manner, Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon, Pointing a Firearm, and Assault with a weapon, among others.
