1. Baycats First Pitch with President Josh Matlow
The warm weather is here! That means it’s officially the start of the season for the Barrie Baycats. Barrie 360’s Will Konken sat down with Baycats president Josh Matlow as part of a new series discussing the season. The pair discuss expectations for players, the season, and the first matchup against the Toronto Maple Leafs who eliminated them in the playoffs last year.

3. Fireworks Safety Ahead of May 2-4 Weekend
Victoria Day weekend typically is celebrated with Fireworks, which can be quite dangerous. With big displays being unorganized this year, families will opt to set fireworks off in their backyards. Our society has totally gone digital, and if you’re not embracing it, you could be set up for failure. World-renowned innovation and disruption strategist Shawn Kanungo will be in Barrie this month, at the Henry Bernick Entrepreneurial Centre at Georgian College. He’ll be speaking about how to adjust to this digital switch, and he spoke to Barrie 360’s Ian MacLennan.
5. Will Dwyer’s Son keeps up the legacy
Barrie local legend Will Dwyer was set to launch into his second million-dollar fundraiser for the Terry Fox Foundation, prior to his passing. Thankfully, his dream will continue through his son Robert, who sat down with Barrie 360’s MJ.
6. A Scam Affecting Grandparents in Midland
Don’t pick up the phone! It could be someone trying to scam money out of your grandparents. Jane Barnett of Midland nearly committed a grave mistake, but decided to contact a friend beforehand. Listen carefully to what she has to say, as it could come in handy. She laid out the story with Barrie 360’s Will Konken.
