The first pitch for the Barrie Baycats is still a month away, but you'll be able to get into the 'spirit' of things ahead of time with the new Baycats Brew.
It's a Bavarian-style lager brewed by The Collingwood Brewery in partnership with the Baycats.
"We are beyond excited to collaborate with the Barrie Baycats to produce their very own Baycats Lager," said Kyle Weston of Collingwood Brewery.
“I am truly excited for our fans, our sponsors, and the establishments supporting our brew and everyone within the Baycats family,” said Baycats President Josh Matlow. "This is something we can all enjoy together, all while supporting local!"
Baycats Brew will be offered in 30L and 50L Kegs for licensed establishments, as well as “Tall Boys”. It can be purchased for consumption at participating dine-in establishments, and retail bottle shops, as well enjoyed at the ballpark on game day.
"Beer and Baseball go together like a perfect marriage, exactly what this is between the Barrie Baycats and the Collingwood Brewery," said Matlow.

The Baycats open the 2022 season at home on May 19 against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The team will play 21 home games and 21 road games, with the regular season concluding on Sunday, August 21.
