Winterfest: Canada’s Winter Wonderland

Festive Family Fun

Canada’s Wonderland will become a mecca for holiday cheer and enchantment when it transforms for Winterfest 2019.

With spectacular lights and decor, world-class entertainment, and tons of Christmas activities, Winterfest is a holiday event for all ages. Here are a few of the attractions you can check out:

Tree Lighting Ceremony

The first thing you’ll want to do is make sure to arrive early enough to see the Tree Lighting Ceremony at the front gate. Every night at 5:30, Snoopy and the gang will countdown and connect a giant plug into an oversized outlet to light up a pair of 50-foot trees.

A Peanuts Guide To Christmas

Celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with Charlie, Lucy, and Linus as they talk about writing letters to Santa, giving the perfect gift, their favorite holiday foods, and more. A perfect show for the whole family.

Christmas Market

Enjoy a huge selection of locally made, hand-crafted items, all while enjoying the lovely sounds of Christmas carollers spreading festive joy. There will be winter accessories, art, home decor, and tons more to help you to cross a few names off your gift list. You can also treat yourself to lots of homemade holiday fare like shortbread and hot chocolate.

North Pole

Decorated with lights, presents, and toys, The North Pole transports you to Santa’s home to meet the big man himself for a photo and to tell him what you want for Christmas (As long as you’re not on the naughty list).

Season Of Lights

Celebrating the diversity of the holiday season, the Season Of Lights is a dazzling display honouring Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Diwali, the Chinese New Year and Christmas.

When I say that’s just the tip of the iceberg, I assure you that’s an understatement. Winterfest kicks off on November 22nd, tickets are only $21.99, and you can check out all the details here.
